FACTBOX, FACT BOX (ingl.)

Lista di dati o di fatti, spesso in ordine cronologico, che ricostruiscono il background di una notizia.
- I factbox permettono di presentare le informazioni in maniera chiara e sintetica, scritti soprattutto come elenchi a punti e semplici dal punto di vista grafico.
- Le notizie economiche e finanziarie si prestano bene a venire espresse nei factbox in una tabella che elenca vari elementi comparativi quali, ad esempio, la capitalizzazione di mercato e l'evoluzione del tasso d’interesse.

- Sometimes when you write an article you want to include a lot of numbers or facts. This makes the text harder for the reader to take in. To make the text easier to read you can place all the numbers in a fact box beside the article.
- Things that can be placed in the fact box are statistics, historical facts or advice about something. If you write an article about pickpockets you can use a fact box for the police’s advice on how people can protect themselves from having their pockets picked.
