In ambito tipografico, schema o modello per un progetto grafico o un lavoro a stampa, costituito da uno o più fogli bianchi sui quali è tracciata la collocazione esatta del testo e delle eventuali illustrazioni da inserire per facilitare il lavoro di impaginazione.
- Il menabò di un giornale non può essere improvvisato. Spesso viene ancora disegnato a mano su un foglio di carta e successivamente posto a video per l'impaginazione.
- La gabbia è la struttura che compone il menabò.
