Testo fisso o scorrevole in sovraimpressione; spesso identifica chi parla all’interno di un servizio televisivo.
- Il giornalismo televisivo ha esaltato il ruolo della firma con il sottopancia, che compare in apertura del servizio sotto il mezzobusto del giornalista.
- Al classico sottopancia che fa scorrere tutti i tweet sull’argomento preferisce selezionarne alcuni e farli entrare direttamente nel dibattito della trasmissione. 

LOWER THIRD SUPER(BAR) NAME STRAP
- In its simplest form, a lower third can just be text overlying the video.
- Supers used in documentaries are often known as lower thirds as they fall in the lower third of the frame.
- You do not have to bother trying to decipher the multiple meanings of the onscreen name straps.
